Enable flood filtering
When this option is enabled Y!TunnelPro will block chat rooms messages if too many are sent by the same user within a specific amount of time. The flood sensitivity level allows you to adjust the flood detection level.
By changing the sensitivity level to a lower setting Y!TunnelPro will allow users to send more messages before a flood will be detected. By changing the sensitivity level to a higher setting Y!TunnelPro will detect a chat rooms after a user has sent only a handful of messages. Automatically ignore users who send bootcodes to the chat room
When this option is enabled Y!TunnelPro will automatically ignore users who constantly send boot codes to the chat room.
Automatically ignore users who send flood the chat room
When this option is enabled Y!TunnelPro will automatically ignore users who constantly flood the chat room. The boot code sensitivity level allows you to adjust how quickly Y!TunnelPro will ignore users who send boot codes to the chat room.
By changing the sensitivity level to a lower setting Y!TunnelPro will allow users to send a more messages containing boot codes before they are automatically ignored. By changing the sensitivity level to a higher setting Y!TunnelPro will automatically ignore a user for sending only a handful of messages containing boot codes. Enable "bounce bot" detection
Bounce bots are chat users (or programs) which enter an leave a chat room very quickly. This has the effect of making the chat room text appear to constantly bounce or jitter. When this option is enabled Y!TunnelPro will monitor a users enter and leave activity in order to detect if they are attempting to make the room "bounce".
If the option to automatically ignore users who bounce in and out of chat rooms is enabled, Y!TunnelPro will place the user into the Super Iggy Bin when it detects users attempting to make the chat room text "bounce". Block duplicate messages
When this option is enabled Y!TunnelPro will compare the last two messages sent by a user to determine if they are duplicates. The duplicate message sensitivity level determines how close of a match Y!TunnelPro requires before deciding if a messages are duplicates. By changing the duplicate sensitivity level to a lower setting Y!TunnelPro will only require a higher percentage of similarity between two messages before it will detect them as duplicates. By changing the duplicate sensitivity level to a higher setting Y!TunnelPro will detect duplicate messages even if they are not extremely similar. |
